North Vector Dynamics is a defense and autonomy technology company based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and built around a simple belief: on the battlefield, survival isn’t a feature – it’s the requirement.
At the core of NVD is a team of engineers and applied scientists, trained at institutions like Waterloo, Oxford, and Calgary, and built their expertise at organizations like NASA, Atomic Energy of Canada, and national aerospace research labs. We’ve worked on everything from hybrid rocket propulsion to autonomous drone guidance to AI-driven flow control.
But what brought us together wasn’t just technical alignment—it was a shared decision to build something where it matters.
We believe Canada and its allies must lead in a rapidly shifting defense landscape. One where supply chains are fragile, threats are evolving, and sovereignty means being able to defend yourself without permission.
